Don’t miss this cultural comedic event at High Point High School, Beltsville, Maryland on December 1, 2018, doors open at 6 PM.  Produced by Earl Walker and directed by Patrick Brown and Trevor Nairne, while starring Glen ‘Titus’ Campbell, Sakina Deer, Keniesha Bowes, Courtney wilson, Sharee Elise, and Akeem Mignott.   The story is set in the capital city of an island washed by the Caribbean Sea, and explores the ingrained societal prejudices faced by residents of the inner-city and some of the de(vices) they employ.  The writer takes us into the world of young inner-city product Charm(aine) and her struggles to provide for her family as the sole breadwinner. It is a world in which the mask of prejudice is removed to reveal some of the harsh realities of life in the ghetto, and the disdain of uptown towards their plight.  The writer uses a comedic vehicle to carry the story, but rest assured…. this is no joke matter.  Unknown to too many of us, it is a reality faced by inner-city residents on a daily basis the world over.  Like a work of art hung in a Gallery, you don’t necessarily see things as they are, you see things as you are.  So it is with people.  You don’t necessarily see them as they are.  You see them as you are, based on your own orientation.
